Sam is the managing partner for Abraham & Associates, LLP. He has over 30 years’ professional experience that cuts across multiple industries. In his capacity as the Managing Partner, he oversees the firm’s strategic direction and has overall responsibility for management functions, including human resources, tax services, accounting, and information technology.
Sam has proven extensive experience and expertise in driving efficiency and productivity through evaluation of financial management systems and implementation of process improvements. Sam is a goal-oriented and talented leader directing highly skilled financial management teams to support achievement of overall corporate goals and objectives.
Sam also specializes in identifying and evaluating business risks and management controls; assessing internal controls; assessing compliance with regulations and policies; analyzing business processes and identifying improvement opportunities; operational restructuring; and identifying cost containment opportunities.
Johnson is a partner with Abraham & Associates, LLP and has led our audit practice since 2020. Johnson has more than 18 years’ audit experience in auditing and financial compliance. He has extensive experience conducting financial statement and compliance audits for a variety of not-for-profit organizations, private companies, governmental entities, and employee benefit plans.
He is well-versed with the requirements of generally accepted accounting and auditing standards in the United States of America as well as Government Auditing Standards and is highly experienced in performing federal and state single audits under Uniform Guidance as well as under the State of Texas Uniform Grant and Management Standards. For over 18 years, Johnson has not only assisted his clients interpret and implement relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements but has also guided them develop and implement controls and procedures that can assist them with proper adherence to compliance as well as financial reporting.
